Lisa Iantoni is simply the best Pilates instructor I have worked with. I have been doing Pilates with Lisa regularly twice a week for the past 5 years. She is super insightful and motivating. My chronic back pain of 10 years was significantly reduced after I started with her sessions. I also built significant muscle mass and have been feeling much more flexible. She is the best.

I started working with Lisa over 5 years ago when I was wrecked with chronic back spasms that were causing me to lose the ability to remain active as the effects of aging were increasing. Lisa’s workouts and body maintenance advice have made me stronger, more flexible and much more aware of my own body’s alignment and agility. I’m more active now than I was 10 years ago, and it’s due in large part to working with her both in the studio and from her videos. Her workouts are thorough and well-tailored; they aren’t easy but I always leave them feeling stronger and with fewer aches and pains than when I started them. She’s great.

I have been taking Pilates sessions with Lisa since 2018. I had been seeing a chiropractor and an acupuncturist for my back problems pretty frequently. The acupuncturist told me I needed to strengthen my core and he could not help me anymore. I signed up for private lessons with Lisa and this has helped me so much. She is a master Pilates instructor and is very knowledgeable about the body. I cannot say enough good things about her. Since the Covid outbreak I switched to sessions using Zoom which works very well. I already had the basic equipment that I would use during the week.

I just wanted to take a minute to share how wonderful an instructor and person I feel Lisa is! I've been doing her reformer and mat classes for over 10 years!
She has an amazing intellectual and intuitive understanding of the human body. She will give you a spectacular work-out while keeping in mind any pain or injury you may have . Also, another thing I find wonderful is no workout is ever the same! It's pretty great considering how long Ive been doing Pilates with her.

After many years of physical activity: tennis, running, basketball and gym workouts, I began to realize my movements and motions were no longer as fluid and easy as I was aging. I reached out to Lisa Iantoni to help me use my body more efficiently, with more mindfulness on my posture, flexibility, joints and muscles so as I continue to age, I could still do all the activities I love.
Lisa worked to understand how my body moves, the inefficient and bad patterns that it had developed, areas of strength and definitely areas of weakness. She accomplished this through working with me both virtually and in-person, asking constant questions about how body parts feel, watching my movements closely to see when I compensate, and when I lacked access to certain muscles. Lisa is super articulate and helped me to understand how my body was working and to feel muscles I hadn’t felt before.
I have worked with Lisa for over five years and my posture has improved, my body length and flexibility has increased and my overall mobility has been revamped. Lisa has worked with me through my bout with frozen shoulder (both sides) and I am back on the tennis court due to her and her detailed and knowledgeable work on lengthening and strengthening my shoulders and the muscles that surround them. I see Lisa, either virtually or in-person, 1-2x a week to maintain the strength I have obtained but to have Lisa monitor my movements to ensure I continue to use my body mindfully.

My intention originally working with Lisa was to familiarize myself with Pilates so I could take classes and go it on my own. But then I realized what amazing powers of observation she has to correct form and build strength in a way that actually heals my back pain and all the other emerging aches and pains that come with age and years of running. So, I made a commitment to continue to work with her privately and never look back. Sessions are never exactly the same. She has an amazing gift for mixing it up with new exercises and new approaches. She is smart, innovative and has a great heart.

I started with Lisa's Pilates classes during my fourth pregnancy. Lisa always gave me tips how to adjust the exercises to accommodate for my growing belly. I fell in love with her Pilates classes and I have been exercising with Lisa since. If I get a compliment that my body looks good after four kids, I always think of Lisa as her classes have helped me to get there. Lisa has a friendly personality and she is passionate about the Pilates method. I always look forward to seeing her and feeling better after her class.

I have always enjoyed Pilates, however, I did not truly learn body awareness until I started private lessons with Lisa.
She has not only taught me proper technique; she has instructed me on how to activate my inner core so that I can maximize the effects of each exercise. I am much stronger than I thought I was!
Within a few months, I lost inches, walked taller, gained confidence, and most importantly, I learned to utilize Pilates in a much more meaningful way.

Lisa has been training me for five years, and I can’t imagine working with anyone else! As a skilled Master Pilates instructor, Lisa’s mind-body approach to overall fitness ensures that she focuses on how my body moves, and how it reacts to the exercises. Lisa always meets me where I am—she pushes me when she knows I can do more but is also cognizant of limitations and will suggest quick modifications when needed. Her care, expertise, and knowledge of the individual client is what makes her the best in business. Come visit her studio and find out for yourselves!

Lisa is the best. She’s so professional and really knows her stuff. She watches you the whole time and won’t let you do it wrong. She’s my exercise guru.

I have trained with Lisa for five plus years via in person privates, virtually and group reformer sessions. Lisa is always encouraging, motivating and engaging. She’s able to challenge and adjust my form based on my anatomy and how my body responds to exercises and postures. Lisa doesn’t use a “one size fits all” approach to helping her clients achieve their goals. Every session is tailored to my body that day. We use the TRX and weights in addition to traditional Pilates equipment. When I first started working with Lisa, my core was weak, my QL was overcompensating and I had hip pain that would wake me up in the middle of the night. I’m able to use all the techniques I learn from Lisa in my daily life, whether it is during a tennis match, walking my dog, or making a bed. I stand taller, my core strength is great and my hip pain is gone!

Lisa brings a wholistic and multi-disciplinary approach to our sessions, tailoring the exercises to my changing needs, so that no session is “routine”. As a Registered Occupational Therapist, I highly value Lisa’s responsiveness and skill in modifying exercises for me as needed, to ensure the work is safe and efficient, yet challenging. Lisa has expertly guided me through recovery from several different injuries, with her keen eye for identifying and correcting the muscle imbalance and compensatory movements I was unconsciously utilizing. I also appreciate that she is always expanding her base of knowledge and integrating new techniques in our sessions, which keep them interesting and motivational. I feel I am in talented hands working with Lisa and that she is truly invested in my progress and well being.
